In this release of BasinC, a critical NEG opcode emulation bug has been fixed, along with several stability issues related to line renumbering and data loss after loading from a saved state. Tape tools, subroutine analysis, and contextual navigation have been significantly improved, making GOTO/GOSUB tracking and flow control more interactive. In addition, a BASIC program minify tool, enhanced screen/listing export, and a character capture mode have been introduced. Usability has also been improved through UI refinements, expanded online help content, and an optional AI API integration. If you are upgrading basinc using portable zip, deleting your basinc.ini is recommended. BasinC will create a new one based on new, default settings.
